The two Lancaster players, who will be joined by another 11 GB players and Romanian Coach Andrei Iosep and Theo Nousios and will be travelling to Romania on the 8th July. The pre-warm up tournament is against the hosts, Slovakia and Hungary u20’s followed by a few days training with Oradea (A Romanian club side), before driving over to Kosice in Slovakia for the euro qualification tournament which starts on the 11th July.
In what is stage 2 of the qualifiers, GBR have been drawn with France, Slovakia, Moldova, Switzerland and Denmark. Even with a less experienced team they will be still aiming to get the results vs Slovakia which they narrowly failed to do in Georgia and need in order to get a more favourable draw in the next round.
