Swimmers from Lancaster City Swimming and Water Polo Club enjoyed a highly successful weekend at the North Lancs Development Meet in Blackpool on 23rd -24th July.
In her first gala Imogen Barker achieved an excellent 6s personal best in the 50m freestyle.
Having recently joined the club, Anan Clarke continued to show his rapid improvement , by taking 2 Gold, 2 Bronze, 5 good PB`s and a speeding ticket from his 6 events.
Emily Wilson had a brilliant competition and set of results to win 3 gold and 1 bronze medals medals.In amongst her 4 PB`s were a huge 9s off her 100m freestyle and 15s off her 200m breastroke.
Georgia Wilson swam consistently for 5 good PB`s in 8 races , similarly Katie Wilson got 6 PB`s from 9 races with an excellent 6s best time in the 100m freestyle.
Harry Shaw was in tremendous form to win 2 gold medals , a silver and a bronze together with 3 PB`s from his events. Jack Collettt also excelled to get a full set of good Pb`s from his 5 events. Jack won 3 silver medals and got a speeding ticket for the 50m freestyle.
Marcus Robinson had a fantastic series of results to combine 5 strong PB`s with 1 speeding ticket, 2 Gold and 3 bronze from his 6 events.
Daisy Pollitt swam really well for a bronze medal in the 200m freestyle and to set 2 PB`s, as did Jasmine Robson to record 4 Pb`s and a bronze medal in the 50m freestyle.
Lucas Heaton had a good gala setting 2 good PB`s , narrowly missing a medal and Jessica Tipton swam strongly in the 50m breaststroke and freestyle events.
Overall a highly successful competition for Lancaster .
