Shock draw for GBR
July 12, 2013Great Britain have just played France in what was a tough game against opposition who had been training together full time for the last two months (because of funding issues GB have only had two weekends together in that time).
Great Britain started the game really strongly with the French unable to break down their defense which was solid throughout the game and GB took a 3-1 lead. The rest of the game was up and down with strong counters from both sides.
Great Britain never went behind during the game with the French leveling up and us going ahead again. Final score was a disappointing 8-8 which left Great Britain feeling like they had lost rather than come away with a valuable point.
