We were favourites going into the finals series but knew it was going to be a hard week. We played Fremantle (2nd place in the league) first, knowing that the winner would be guaranteed a semi final spot. We played pretty badly which resulted in our first lost of the season 7 4. This gave us a tougher route to the final but was also a good wake up call. We bounced back with two tough wins 12 7 against Wests and 8 5 in the semi final against Brisbane. We were determined to come out hard in the final and got an early 3 0 lead which set us up for the rest of the game. We were 6 1 up at half time and slowed it down in the second half to end up 10 5. It was a really solid performance and was followed by a massive night out in Sydney which capped off a really successful season for us.
