Great Britain finish on a high
July 15, 2013After the disappointment of losing their game against Slovakia GBR had to get themselves ready for the morning game against Denmark.
Great Britain started brightly and countered well going 5-0 up in the first quarter. The second quarter was one to forget with GBR losing it 4-1 with some really sloppy play to bring the half time score to 6-4 GB.
After a few laps swimming at the half time break and some words from coach Andrei Iosep the team played much better in the second half of the game winning in the end 15-5.
Ciaran James scored three goals and Tom two with Tom finishing top scorer for GB with 13 for the tournament and Ciaran on 7
These results plus other groups results puts Great Britian in a good position for the November tournament to qualify for the 2014 European championships
