Beckie Kershaw strips off

November 12, 2012

Lancaster City and Olympian Beckie Kershaw has shed her swimsuit for a 2013 calendar to raise money for breast cancer research.

She may be used to hanging around poolside wearing very little, but Beckie Kershaw with another 14 of GB’s aquatics stars have taken things a step further, baring all for Wear it Pink 2012 – a project run by charity Breast Cancer Campaign.

The calendar will feature a host of London 2012 Olympians and Paralympians including the likes of swimmer Fran Halsall, diver Nick Robinson-Baker, water polo captain Fran Leighton and synchronised swimmer Asha Randall as well as Paralympic medallists Claire Cashmore and Ollie Hynd.

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in the UK with around 48,000 women diagnosed each year in the UK alone.

Breast Cancer Campaign was set up in 1988 with the aim of researching the cure for breast cancer. You can find out more about Breast Cancer Campaign and Wear it Pink here.

The calendar goes on pre sale from the 1st November 2012 and will be in stock from 23rd November and can be purchased via our online shop. All proceeds will go to Wear It Pink.

Even if it’s not your preference of calendar think about loved ones who would like one for Christmas!
