Inter Regions Juniors 2009

North West juniors, coached by Lancaster coaches Zak Sly and Gary Ellwood, took the Inter Regions title this weekend after coming top of the league beating South West (20 3), West Midlands (25 9), South East (16 13) and finished off beating Scotland 18 -14. Scotland had also that day lost to South East by one goal (14 – 13). 

North West captain and Lancaster player Ciaran James was voted Most Valuable player of the tournament and Lancaster player Marc Robinson was voted most valuable goalkeeper of the tournament and even managed to score two goals! Manchester player Dean Smith got top goal scorer of the tournament.

The Lancaster players in the team were, Ciaran James, Marc Robinson, Mike Brown and Decland Ellwood. With Carlisle players Matthew Grieves and Dan Barker.
